Lora’s Lady of Honor
Lora was hand picked by Sarah as worthy friend material, even though she was shoeless in a bar the first time they met. Best friends for nearly a decade, Sarah was the only choice for Lora’s Lady of honor. Even though Sarah’s now a northern dweller, having fled the heat and taken refuge in gorgeous New Hampshire with her loving wife Maria, their dogs Mona and DaVinci, along with their troublemaking kitty Waffles, she and Lora still speak daily! Sarah is Lora’s only hope of ever being fashionable, staying up on good music, and having any clue of what would be proper! Sarah is the kind of person that adds happiness and sunshine to any conversation.
Tracy’s Best Bro
Dad of 3 fabulous kids, avid golfer, Manchester United fan, lover of a good IPA and Whiskey, husband to Kerry. There’s no better brother than him. No matter where our family moved or travelled, we had each other! Family road trips were always a favorite, with days in the car together we came up with ways to entertain each other, and mostly without irritating our parents. As we have grown, we continue to share so much and I love knowing that he is always just a phone call away. I could not imagine having anyone else stand beside me on this very special day.
Bridesmaid
One of our dynamic duo, Kim was brought into our lives thorough.... you guessed it, Geocaching! She has been with us along our journey and we were so happy she was even there for the proposal in Ocala National Forest. Kim’s inner yogi meshes well with Lora’s bohemian nature and they have the goat yoga pictures together to prove it! Some of our favorite camping shenanigans involve this woman! Her big heart and love of adventure constantly wow us! We have shared so much with her, and are excited to have her be a part of our special day.
Bridesmaid
Jen is the other part of the dynamic duo! Tracy really got to know Jen while traveling in Brazil on a geocaching trip. Jen too has been a special part of our journey together, even making us custom colored engagement cupcakes. You see she, like Tracy, has a love for playing with fondant. “JenJen” as we affectionately call her, is the kind of person who adds so much warmth to your life, that you spend much of your friendship trying to convince her to move closer so you can see her more often. I think we double up the “Jen” because we wish there were two of her! You can always count on JenJen to bring the laughter (and usually the tequila too)! We are so lucky she will be standing by our sides on this special day!
Ring Security
AKA - Jackalaka. One of the most amazing twin nephews. He always brightens a room with his amazing smile! Jack loves to play soccer, ride his bike, and go snowboarding. Agent Jack, with his twin, will be on ring security duty.... I would not mess with them!
Ring Security
AKA - Kykles. One of the most amazing nephews ever! His mischievousness always has everyone laughing! Kyle also enjoys snowboarding, soccer, and building legos. Agent Kyle, with his twin, will be on ring security duty.... I would not mess with them!
Mother of the Bride
The most amazing mom a daughter could ever ask for. Loving, kind, funny, and a little quirky. In addition, she is talented and creative beyond words. Her love, support, and advice (even if Tracy didn't always like what it was...or adhere to it) over the years have been and remain - center of Tracy’s life. It didn’t take Lora long to realize what an incredible woman Erica was and how much her love and presence mattered in our lives. We’ve shared many splendid times together and it’s always filled with laughter, smiles and good wine (just how Lora and Erica like it)! Having her be a part of this day means the world to us both.
Father of the Bride & Officiant
Tracy always says the very best of what a great father is can be seen in her dad. Beyond the wisdom, compassion, and guidance there is the best quality of all...unconditional love. I am forever thankful for all he has shared and all the amazing opportunities he has provided. Ernie is the kind of person who makes you feel better about life in general every time you speak. His view of people and the world in general is awe inspiring. He is a wealth of information, a source of what is right for people, and an avid traveler which probably explains Tracy’s love for it! Not to mention, his hugs are world renowned! Saying we appreciate his presence in our lives and that we are blessed to have him with us on this day is an understatement.
Batman
Ethan is the kind of son that never gets off the phone without telling you he loves you. He’s a lover, despite wiping off kisses when he was a toddler. Ethan has grown into a sweet, kind, and thoughtful young man who pushes himself whether it’s in school, athletics, or his role as trombone section leader in the band. He’s also a darn good cook (but don’t tell him that because his head is already big enough)! Seriously though his seafood chowder is killer (but so is cleaning up after him)! Super excited for his role in this day!
Sailor
Mason. He’s a unique guy that just when you think you’ve got him figured out...BAM! He changes it up. He probably gets that from growing up with Lora rearranging and repainting things so often! Having finished high school, and running off to join the Navy, Mason has has plenty of life changes recently. But through it all, he’s always been a brilliant, talented, creative person whose laughter is infectious! Watching him grow and become his own person has been a beautiful part of our lives! We are so very hopeful that he can get leave from his ship in Japan and make the journey home to be with us as we celebrate!
Wine Officiant
Smarts, humor, great eyes (she's an optometrist) and a flair for good wines, Kerry is by far the most amazing sister-in-law and wine officiant we could ask her. Don’t let her love for the dramatics of Broadway and rocking good music fool you. She’s got a serious poker face, so don’t expect any funny business when she gets down to it! This woman has serious good taste and we are so blessed to have her in our lives and share this day with her!
Greeter
Full of life that bubbles over, a quick smile, and a personality filled with warmth and genuine interest in others, our niece Lizzy, is the perfect friendly face to greet our guests as they arrive for the nuptials. Lizzy has been blessed with the gift of gab, a trait she absolutely inherited from her mom Kerry, and she holds back nothing. Elizabeth’s ability to make anyone feel comfortable is why we knew she would be the right person for this job at our wedding.
Father of the Bride
A Puerto Rican native, who joined the U.S. Army, Lora’s dad is where a lot of her zest for life, and affinity for people, comes from. Having met Lora’s mom while they were both stationed in Japan, the Army had Jose and family traveling extensively when she was little; This ended when Jose got concurrent tours in Key West making it Lora’s home town. Jose’s Puerto Rican traditions have always been a cherished part of Lora’s identify as she was lucky enough to spend some of her childhood summers at her grandparents home in Puerto Rico. Jose’s guitar and singing skills may also have been transferred to Lora in the form of her appreciation of all things musical, as well as to the boys too with all their musical talents.
Brother of the Bride
Younger than Lora by a measly 13 months, Lora and Joe spent much of their childhood in Key West and Stuart outside together riding all over the place together on bikes and skates. He is the kind of brother who would take Lora’s car to shop class in high school and spend weeks rebuilding it for her. He never let the fact that he only half knew what to do stop him from helping someone in need out! All grown up now, you can’t keep either of Lora or Joe inside for long. After years of traveling all over Florida as a land surveyor, Joe has settled into the quiet life in Okeechobee Florida working outdoors just as he likes it!
Master of Ceremonies
Joey is one of those people that you instantly fall in love with when you meet him. His sweet face, genuine smile and that twinkle in his eye all lead to the same conclusion: this is someone you want to know and to spend time with. When Mason and Ethan were young they had such an affinity for Joey, that they’d request I drive all the way up to his restaurant just to celebrate some award or achievement. I know they like his spaghetti (because we all have been spoiled by Joey’s incredible culinary creations) but it was how he made them feel that kept bringing the boys back. We are so very lucky to have Joey, and his husband Marc, be in our lives. We could think of no one better to bring us all together to celebrate this special day than him.
