James and Lora are the classic charming story of the coworkers that fell in love. James started working at Pacific Steel in 2021, where Lora was already working. Lora and James had sparks from the beginning. One day James came down with cold and was staying home alone for a few days. Lora had a bright idea to make a home cooked meal for James and leave it with some medicine on his front door. James and Lora started spending more and more time together. James went out of town for Thanksgiving that year. When James returned Lora decided to make him a Thanksgiving dinner so they could celebrate together. After that night James never left and knew Lora was the one for him.
James and Lora headed to Piedmont pond to spend the day together. Lora had brought her camera and decided to take some photos of the sunset and collect rocks, which James finds silly but is one of the many things he loves about Lora. James picked up a rock and said "I found this cool rock". Lora was confused and asked "why? you don't even like rocks". James then pulled a ring from his pocket and decided to propose. And of course, Lora said "YES!".
