Love Story

Liz and Kyle first crossed paths at H-E-B in aisle 26. What started as a quick introduction later that day turned into a 30-minute conversation in the wareroom, full of laughing and getting to know each other. Their friendship felt easy from the beginning, and by the holidays, they were talking every day and had become a constant in each other’s lives. ⸻ Around Valentine’s Day, Liz stayed with Kyle for a week during a difficult time for her, and that’s when things started to shift. What was supposed to be a hard moment turned into something unexpectedly good. One night, after watching Love Is Blind and drinking Crown Apple and Sprite, they found themselves sitting a little closer… and then a little closer… until it was clear they weren’t just friends anymore. ⸻ After that, they never really spent a day apart. They spent every moment together, making even the simplest days something to look forward to. Whether it was building Legos together, going on gym dates, grabbing brunch, traveling to small towns, or just having lazy movie nights on the couch with Hunter, it didn’t take long for them to realize how much they loved doing life side by side. On May 6, Kyle asked Liz to be his girlfriend—a date that would come to mean even more to them over time. ⸻ From the moment they met, and even more once they started dating, they knew they had found their best friend in each other. What makes their relationship work is how naturally they balance each other out. Kyle brings structure, calm, and consistency into Liz’s life, while Liz brings energy, fun, and a little bit of chaos into his. Together, they’ve grown into better versions of themselves—pushing each other, supporting each other, and learning what it means to truly show up for someone. Through everyday routines, big goals, and everything in between, they’ve built a relationship that just feels right. ⸻ On February 20, 2026—the same day they closed on their first home—Kyle had one more surprise. As they walked into their house for the first time, Kyle asked Liz to marry him—and of course, she said yes.
