Makenna and Jacob grew up in the same church, their paths crossing long before they knew what the future would hold. After leaving for college to chase their dreams, life eventually led them both back home to Kalamazoo — where friendship was rekindled and something deeper began to grow. What started as a familiar connection became a love rooted in faith, history, and perfect timing. Along the way, they discovered a shared love for traveling and exploring the world together, and for laughing with one another through every season. Each adventure and every moment of joy is a reminder that God has been in the midst of their story from the very beginning. Now, with grateful hearts, Makenna and Jacob can’t wait to begin this next chapter together — surrounded by the community that shaped their journey and the faith that continues to guide it.
