We're getting married!

Welcome to our wedding website, we can’t wait to celebrate our special day with you. We’ve created this website as a convenient & interactive way to share all of the important details with you leading up to our wedding. You can also read more about our love story, get to know our awesome bridal party, & check out our registry information too. We are so excited to share this day with you & look forward to dancing the night away with all of our favorite people!

How we met

We were college students at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, CA. Chad was playing baseball and Alexa was a student athletic trainer. Chad being often injured made our run-in's frequent around the training room (all part of his plan). It was forbidden love due to certain rules in her program, but they couldn't deny how they felt. It was one day in March of 2018, Alexa found Chad on Instagram and "slid into the DM's". The rest is history.

Milestones

2018 - Chad was offered a baseball scholarship at Westmont College in Montecito, CA. 2019 - Alexa was accepted to University of Nevada Las Vegas' Athletic Training Program. Eventually, Chad graduated from Westmont College with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and moved back to Las Vegas in December of 2019. No more long distance! 2020 - Chad landed a job with LawClerk, a legal tech company. June 2020, we started the process of building our first home! Then in January of 2021, we moved into our first home!

Engagement

July 2021, we went on vacation to Maui, HI. Chad suggested a "date-night", so he drove us to Makena Beach before dinner. When we arrived to the beach, we noticed there was red rose petals scattered along the sand and Chad said "How weird! Let's go check it out!". As we got closer to the rose petals, the song "Greatest Love Story" by LANCO started playing from a speaker. Chad stopped us, dropped to one knee, pulled out a red box and popped the question. This beautiful moment was facilitated and all caught on video thanks to Ryan, Chad's brother and best man. We celebrated with Chad's mom and Ryan (and of course had to call the rest of our friends + family), before heading off to a candlelit dinner overlooking the ocean. It is still to date, our favorite memory ever!
