It’s finally happening!

Tau & LooLoo met through his sister, Keila. Major shout to our sister for being the best match-maker. They had their first date at the Philz Coffee shop in Redwood City, CA and then work to the Love Jams Concert together in San Jose, CA. LooLoo lived in Los Angeles where she continued her Masters Program at USC. Tau lived in Manteca where he was working full-time and helping his mom and siblings. For 1.5 years, they made long distance work. Whether it was FaceTime calls every day, a good morning text message, a phone call in passing, or making a trip once a month to see one another. They were determined to love each other even at 300 miles apart. A vital tie that kept them committed to one another, even more than their visits and dates, was their faith. Bible studies, prayers, and church visits gave them spiritual fuel and mana to journey forward. None of this would have been possible without their faith work, blessings from God, and continued love and support from family, friends, and beloved communities.
