Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Erik Breit and Jessie List
Read on for restaurant, brewery, shopping, and kid-friendly recommendations!
50/50 Taphouse

50/50 Taphouse

29 West Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601

So named for the 50 different types of burgers and 50 beers they have on tap, 50/50 Taphouse is where Jessie first scored Erik's number. It has delicious burgers, chicken sandwiches, brews, cocktails, and fried Oreos. Anyone who knows Erik and Jessie also knows that they have won many a Thursday night trivia here!

Vibrissa Beer

Vibrissa Beer

10 North Kent Street, Winchester, VA 22601

Erik and Jessie had their first date here -- and even though Jessie spilled beer all over Erik's wallet, they still go back regularly! Anyone who has ever visited Winchester has been brought here by Erik and Jessie. It has an awesome outdoor seating area decorated by an artsy mural. Vibrissa has no shortage of locally brewed craft beers and wines, and has AMAZING food. We recommend the pulled pork nachos, giant soft pretzel, and the Blue Jay sandwich! Also not to brag (but totally bragging), Erik and Jessie have won many a trivia here as well!

Roma Old Town Wood-Fired Pizzeria

Roma Old Town Wood-Fired Pizzeria

21 North Loudoun Street, Winchester, VA 22601

As the name suggests, Roma is known for delicious wood-fired pizza. We recommend the carbonara pizza and the Maryland crab pie. Honorable mention goes to their house made THICCCCC mozzarella sticks. If you want a more casual feel, you can head upstairs to Roma's brewery, Alesatian, and still be served anything from Roma's menu!

Pizzoco Pizza Parlor

Pizzoco Pizza Parlor

501 North Loudoun Street, Winchester, VA 22601

Another delicious pizza place in Winchester, Pizzaco offers unique and locally named pies. Beer is served there as well. It is located in the more residential area of downtown, so you can get a taste of the old-time architecture of the homes of Winchester! Fun fact: Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers once stopped in here on his way home from dropping off his kids at a summer camp.

El Centro

El Centro

1 North Loudoun Street, Winchester, VA 22601

The margaritas at El Centro are award-winning in Jessie's world. I would venture to guess that she's had approximately 3 million margaritas from El Centro, and each one is better than the last. Sit in the bar area for quick service, and choose from a multitude of different margarita flavors. There are of course food options, but honestly I don't think Jessie ever makes it past the tequila and free chips and salsa.

Winchester Brew Works

Winchester Brew Works

320 North Cameron Street, Winchester, VA 22601

Another local craft brewery, Winchester Brew Works boasts a large outdoor area as well as a taproom loaded up with board games and yes...a Nintendo 64. Winchester Brew Works does not have food, but outdoor food is welcome!

James Charles Winery & Vineyard

James Charles Winery & Vineyard

4063 Middle Road, Winchester, VA 22602

For the wine lovers, James Charles is conveniently located a stones throw away from our wedding venue! Like every other winery in northern Virginia, it boasts beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. James Charles also sells heavier appetizers -- the pizza never disappoints!

Valerie Hill Vineyard & Winery

Valerie Hill Vineyard & Winery

1687 Marlboro Road, Stephens City, VA 22655

Located in an old mansion (which was featured on Ghost Hunters!!!!!), Valerie Hill is another winery located just outside of Winchester's limits. Enjoy a delicious summer sangria and pretzel bites on the side porch while listening to local musicians perform!

Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum
