FAQs

You have questions, we have answers (hopefully). If you have other questions not answered here feel free to contact us directly.
Question

When should I be expecting an invite?

Answer

Formal invites will be mailed the first week of May. Please RSVP promptly.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than June 12, 2021. If we have not received your RSVP by that date we will assume you/your family will not be in attendance. If you do not RSVP you will not be included in our final seating and meal count.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Please visit the registry page of our website. Since we already have the majority of common household items, our registry is very minimal. Our preference would be contributions to our Honeymoon Fund or restaurant gift cards. Any gift given will be greatly appreciated & cherished! Thank you in advance!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love and adore your little ones, our ceremony and reception are both adults-only (18+) events. We are sure everyone could use a parenting break or date night with their spouse :) Please plan ahead.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

ONLY if your date was included in your invitation. Names must be on the guest list to enter event. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. If their name was NOT included on the invitation, they are NOT included in our guest count. Thanks in advance for our cooperation.

Question

What COVID-19 precautions are in place for your wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will be in July and we are hoping that by then a majority of people will be vaccinated (If they so choose). We plan to seat guests by families and plate food in individual servings rather than buffet style. We are not asking anyone to prioritize our wedding over their health. Please do whatever you consider best for you and your family's health (masks, hand sanitizer, etc). If you do not feel comfortable and would rather attend virtually, that is perfectly fine with us as well. We totally understand!

Question

I won't be able to attend. Is there a way I can still see the wedding?

Answer

Due to COVID we have decided to also live stream the ceremony on Zoom. The link is included on the Events page for all virtual guests and in-person guests that can not attend.

Question

Can I take pictures and/or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We want each guest to be present to experience the special moment with us. We have hired a professional team to capture the day. We ask that you refrain from taking photos and videos during the ceremony so it does not interfere with our photographers. After the ceremony, and at the reception, feel free to take as many pictures as you like. Be sure to use our hashtags when you post pictures; #InItForTheLongmire and #LongmireLove21.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that your attire is dressy casual. It is your loved one's special day so please dress accordingly. Please no jeans, t-shirts, or ripped clothing.

Question

What should I know about the venue?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. Both events are at the same location. Exact venue address will be listed on formal invitations.

Question

Why can't I RSVP?

Answer

We will not open RSVP abilities on the website until invitations have been mailed out. Please be sure all names are spelled correctly. If you continue to have problems please reach out to the bride or groom before June 12th. . ** Virtual guests do NOT need to RSVP**
