September 2010: Some may say it was love at first sight, if you believe in such things. Both of us could feel the air shift when we first made eye contact. Chris introduced himself to Rebecca as she was tying her shoes in the hallway by the choir room. Since then, we spent countless hours talking, playing the piano, and poking each other on Facebook. 2011-2012: Little did we know our life would be narrated by a book, a book about war, no less.

June 2013: After graduating high school, we went our separate ways for college, not knowing if or when we would see each other again. March 2014: Chris flew to Seattle to visit Rebecca

Chris flew back to Seattle to visit Rebecca over spring break, again. But this time, to ask if their friendship could be something more.

January 2017: Chris left for Bootcamp to begin his compulsory military service in the Korean Army. We wrote each other a letter a day during his 30 days of training. August 2017: Rebecca flew to Seoul to visit Chris for the first time while he continued his Army service. Summer 2019: Chris and Rebecca rented a humble abode to see what life would be like together.

December 2019: Chris left Seoul for Seattle, joining Rebecca on Capitol Hill. 2020: Needs no explanation....

October 2021: Chris proposed to Rebecca, and naturally, Rebecca said yes! December 2021: -Redacted- 2022: Rebecca & Chris did many at-home DIY projects and procrastinated planning a wedding. 2023: You are here.
