Dolce Delight
Becka worked here for over 9 years, and we worked here together for 4 years! The Salino Family is part of our Family and they make some of the best food in town! DO NOT miss out on Friday or Saturday Morning breakfast here! Get there early, people watch the crowd that swarms in, and picture us working that grill together like old times!
Italian Carry Out
Right next to Dolce Delight is Italian Carry Out (ICO)! Also owned by the Salino Family- You can't go wrong with anything on the menu! While we will have ICO Pizza at the Welcome Reception on Friday, we recommend getting a Flying Squirrel sub and ICO fries! If you are getting in early on Thursday, definitely grab lunch or dinner from ICO. If you pick it up, look over at the house next door, that was our first apartment together!

Whether or not you are a Bomber Alumni, take a stroll around the beautiful campus we called home for 4 years! A Farmer's Market like no other! Saturday and Sunday 10am-2pm, do not miss this local gem! Countless local vendors, delicious food, and a gorgeous property right on the inlet!

Looking for a quick round of golf in the morning? Newman Golf Course is a casual 9 hole course right between Ithaca Farmer's Market and Stewart Park down on Cayuga Lake!

Taughannock Falls State Park
Taughannock Falls is our favorite State Park with a GORGES walking path to the tallest waterfall in the Finger Lakes. There are so many beautiful hikes, trails and waterfalls throughout the area! The website link provides many more options for any type of activity you are looking for :)
Damiani Wine Cellars
Staying for the Holiday Weekend? Damiani sits on Seneca Lake (Cayuga's Neighbor) has some of the best Red's in the Finger Lakes! (Becka is a Damiani Wine Club Member) If you make it over here, you will find a long road of endless wineries, breweries and distilleries to tour! You're also close to Watkins Glen State Park!
Bright Leaf Vineyard
Over on the opposite side of Cayuga Lake lies our Favorite Winery. Bright Leaf may be out of the way for some of our guests, but you will not be disappointed for taking the drive! The Red Blend Series has become a staple at Helmkamp dinners!

Did you make it to Bright Leaf Winery? Well, now you must as well drive a little further to Mackenzie Childs! Sitting on an absolutely beautiful property in Aurora, NY is the Alice in Wonderland of home decor! Even if you are completely shocked by the high prices, the experience and property are like no other! If you know Becka, you will understand her love for the brand right when you pull in!
