We eloped!

On March 25th, JP and Mack were furloughed from their bakery jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The next day, after calling the Sandwich Town Office to make sure they were still open, they packed their kitten Beast in the car and headed for New Hampshire, ready to get married the next day. The dress had already been found, the ring was a great-grandmother's heirloom, and the officiant was on speed-dial. Elopement was a ready, set, go! Although they dearly missed all of their friends, the small ceremony was perfect. The afternoon sun glinted off of the ice and the temperate weather of late March warmed the beach as they exchanged vows with each other. Tears of joy, laughter, and a few shenanigans made the day extraordinarily special.

Mack and JP fell head over trails for each other during their time in the Huts working for the AMC. Now, they live in Central Vermont with their kitten Beast and puppy Felix! JP is teaching Mack about the magic of riding bikes and the NBA. She is in turn teaching her dirtbag husband about the finer things in life, like being a dog dad and wine in a bottle (not a bag).
