The most amazing little sister I never knew I wanted and now absolutely can not live without! We met as a biproduct of me dating her brother, but were very relatable and easily became friends friends. Over the past few years this genuine, gentle beauty has helped me grow in ways you can’t even imagine. She just gets me! Shes the one who clebrates with me in my successes, pushes me to triumph in tribulation, has my back when things get out of line, and gives me Godly counsel when I need a ear and am unsure of what to do. I am so blessed that this beautiful soul is now stuck with me forevaaaa (in my Cardi B voice). I couldn’t imagine this journey down the isle with her not right by my side as my stunning Maid of Honor.

My little big sister was my first freind ever! Some of my absolute best memories are with this girl! Always by my side at every turn and milestone, my protector when I wasn’t strong enough to stick up for myself, and my only full blood sibling. She’s the one that can make me laugh until my abs are sore, and the one who always cracks up at all my jokes, funny or not. Shes the one that drives me the most crazy, but my life would be incomplete without. Shes the voice that lets me know how proud she is of me when im being too hard on myself and the one that will shoot it to me straight when im not being hard enough. She constantly test my patience, but has been an inspiration of growth a many times and I wouldnt trade her for the world.

We met through my Maid of Honor Jasmine. The first time we met I was in Atlanta helping Jasmine put together her bridal shower as we had an mandatory hurruicane evacuation from Florida. To be a part of such a special occasion as she floated around the room with such style and grace I knew we would be instant friends. Shes the one Ive known for the shortest amount of time, but hold her as close as the rest. She is that friend not everyone deserves, but sure wishes they could find. She is consistently genuine with her intentions, open with her heart, always down for whatever spontaneous adventure arrises, and someone I am blessed to be able to walk this wife life out with as she is a newly wed herself.

We met my freshman year of college at the University of Central Florida. The most amazing spirit and support as I weathered bad roommates, college brokeness, and a torn ACL. We lost contact when I went home to finish my general education at my community college after that year, but as fate would have it we randomly bumped into each other 3 years later on a 7 day cruise out of Miami. Of all the cruise ships, and all the dates either of us could have chosen, fate put us together, and we have gown in life together ever since. So many milestones and accomplishments witnessed together and so many more to come. Milan was the first person I spoke to the night after I met kenny and told I knew he was my husband.

I prayed that God remove everyone toxic from my life and in the blink of an eye I was alone. When you get what you prayed for...God showed up and showed out with this one. Shamira came into my life when I was going down a path of self discovery. I was new to the brokerage we worked at and really struggling to get my Real Estate career off the ground. We did a couple of open houses together for some homes she had listed at the time, and effortlessly got to know each other very quickly. My sister in Christ has been there with me as I have grown in my walk with God, in my confidence professionally and personally, as well as in my relationship with Kenny.

Lauren is that one family member that stands out because she shines so bright. The life of the party, soo rightfully she is a neccesity to my bridal party! Lauren is Kenny’s sib cousin (meaning they are cousins, but are close like siblings). I first met her when she came to Florida to help Kenny move after I sold him his first home! Consistanly bursting with infectious laughter and a sense of humor that sixpack abs are born from, she is the type of family I look forward to creating memories with for many years to come!

Simone is the tough cousin with a big big heart! A hard outter shell, but the most genuine "tough lover" of the bunch. She is the family member that everyone really needs. She keeps us all sharp with her quick wit and humor while keeping us humble with her trasparacy and perspective, but when it comes to family she is one tough cookie. Shes the one I know would have myself and Kenny's back NO (hand clap emoji) MATTER (hand clap emoji) WHAT(hand clap emoji)! We have experienced many great holidays and family vacations togther and I am looking forward to the growth of our families together!

Darius and I met through old friends in college and were instant friends. We grew into manhood and matured as young men. We would party together, talk about life goals, family visions, and business ideas. We have overcome any tough times, and our friendship has stood the test of time. He has never changed on me and has been the definition of a true friend/brother. Both of his children are my Godchildren so they are all stuck with me!

As the group began growing in different directions, Marques and I grew in the same direction as far as family vision, community service, and friendship. As a young kid fresh out of college, I was seeking a business mentor. Although I come from a family of entrepreneurs, I needed a mentor/friend who I could learn from with no bias. I was introduced to Bass via a family friend and that friendship grew year after year. My friendship with Bass is very unique because Bass and I have an age variance, but I know when to take advice as the younger brother (friend), when to be the student, and when to share experience that he may benefit from as well. It's a true mentor/friend hybrid relationship.

Jason is the brother of a fallen college teammate, Cortez Smith. Cortez was my little brother, teammate, friend, and roommate in college. Upon the passing of Cortez, Jason took me on as his little brother. I am the oldest child in my family so Jason being the protective "big brother" meant a lot to me as he would always (and still does) check on me no matter what state I have lived in, no matter what's going on in his life, and always checking to see if I need anything. I am thankful that Jason is in my life playing the role that he does.

Jordan is my cousin and laid back is an understatement for describing him! He is the cousin who can make eye contact with me from across the room and we are on the same page about something unspoken. To be able to call Jordan family is a blessing. I am proud to be his big cousin and he is more like a little brother to me.

Taurian and I often laugh because we really cannot pinpoint when we first met! Was it in the 8th grade while playing in a church basketball league? Was it through mutual friends? All we know is that it was around the 7th or 8th grade and then we would always run into each other at athletic competitions-church basketball league, high school track, and high school football playoffs (I gave their defense trouble even though we lost! LOL). As we grew into manhood our friendship grew even stronger, as we grew out of poor friendships and into productive ones. Taurian is also family.

Kamari is my (Kenny) nephew. He is growing up so fast and I want nothing more than to see him develop into a strong young man, and to be set up for success. He is smart, silly, loving, and surprises me with his wit all the time. His passion for and knowledge of basketball is uncanny. I want nothing more than to be a great example for him to look up to.

Amen is a young, talented, athletic cousin. He is full of energy, personality, and he loved to dance. Amen is such a mature soul and enjoys his family time. He was always with me when I spent time living in Virginia for Grad school.

Jovan aka Jojo is a cousin who turned out to be quite the athlete! He is very smart, loving, and enjoys family time very much. He was always with me when I lived in Virginia for Grad school. He and Amen were my riding buddies whenever I hopped into the car.

Kingdom is the baby of all of the cousins. He may be the youngest, but he is definitely a leader. He is strong-willed and somehow leads the pack of older kids! Listening to him speak will impress almost anyone as he speaks with such grace.
