Power Converters: Reminder to bring a power converter (or a few) with you! In Italy, power plugs and sockets (outlets) us type F and type L and the standard voltage is 230 V (if you're planning to bring a hair dryer or curler/straightener, double check to see what type of voltage converter you would need, as the voltage difference can fry your device). If you're traveling elsewhere in Europe during your trip, double check to make sure your converter will work there as well (The UK for instance utilizes different plugs). Irons: For those staying at Villa Buonvisi, all rooms are equipped with an iron.

If you are arriving in Italy by train, Villa Buonvisi and the surrounding hotels are a quick 12-minute taxi ride from the Lucca train station. You can book train tickets by clicking the button below.
