London and John officially met in December 2019, when she was working at Food Lion and he was working next door at Brooklyn’s. Funny enough, they actually went to middle school in eighth grade together and even had the same group of friends—but somehow never really hung out. Many times, John had walked into Food Lion, secretly hoping to see London, but never worked up the nerve to talk to her. That is, until Brooklyns ran out of buttermilk for their ranch one day. John immediately offered to go get it, knowing it was his perfect excuse to finally say something. He nervously walked up to her register and asked where the buttermilk was, and that little moment ended with them exchanging numbers. Everyone at Brooklyns knew that John liked London, she was all that he talked about. So, after exchanging numbers, John burst back into the restaurant excited. He told everyone he worked with that he finally got her number. However, London totally ghosted him for a few months (oops), but in May 2020, things picked back up—and on May 22, John officially asked her to be his girlfriend. And they’ve been stuck like glue ever since.
