We Can't wait to celebrate with you!

It was late on a Saturday night at Wayside Central, the classiest bar at Central Michigan University, when we first officially locked eyes. It wasn't until a few years later, after college, that we started a long-distance relationship, with Elyse living in Chicago & Adam in Atlanta. After countless flights back and forth to visit each other any chance they got, Adam moved to Chicago and the rest is history!

We took a trip to Chicago as our annual trip in 2021 & we were planning on going back to the restaurant we had our first date at. Elyse was a bit suspicious & thought the proposal was coming but all of that went out the window when Adam had to check his luggage (mind you the only bag he brought on the trip) at the gate due to Elyse having too many bags LOL. Elyse was like there is no way there is a ring in there if he is checking his bag!!! We went along to have an amazing weekend - it was like a trip down memory lane, visiting all of our favorite spots - even the bar we first met at after college! Saturday was the nice dinner & earlier in the day we went to the Bean & that is where Adam got down on one knee and asked Elyse to be his wife! Everyone at the Bean cheered & we got an awesome video of the moment captured. It was an amazing moment, in a place & city that is so special to us! Elyse later found out that Adam had been hiding the ring in his SOCK the whole weekend, waiting for the right moment. We were over the moon & so happy! We FaceTimed all of our family & friends to tell them the news and had lots of champagne to celebrate that night!
