Back in April—as we were about to send our "Save the Dates" and as it became increasingly clear that COVID wasn't going to go away anytime soon—we made the decision to cancel our wedding. We knew that we still wanted to get married this year, but we couldn't figure out how exactly to go about it in a way that felt personal. It wasn't until after a trip up North in mid-August that we realized we could still be surrounded by loved ones (though not many) and celebrate our biggest milestone to date. We feel extremely grateful to have such a wonderful group of friends join and support us in a mini DIY "wedding" weekend, but we feel even more grateful for our friends and family who understand the complexities of the current situation and are still supporting us while not physically being able to see us on our big day. We look forward to "seeing" you all on Zoom. Happy Halloween!
