Question

Is anyone's last name changing?

Answer

Mike and Sarah are both taking the last name “Hackendorn”, Mike’s maternal family name.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

If you stay downtown and aren't interested in the countryside, Uber and Lyft should be able to get you around just fine. If you plan to do much exploring we recommend a car rental.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The forecast for this weekend is rain. This will likely be in the form of scattered storms with sunshine in between. Expect days in the 70s and cool nights in the 40s. A medium jacket and a rain jacket are mandatory.

Question

What is the dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

The Schedule page lists recommended attire for each event.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

If you need a ride to the hot springs, let Mike or Sarah know. Every other event is within easy walking or rideshare distance from the hotel.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Welcome Party: ample free parking in the Museum lot Ceremony: Street parking is free and should be fairly easy to find within a few blocks of the church Reception: The best option is likely to walk the 3 blocks from the church to the reception. There are two free parking lots on the corner of N Wilson Ave. and W Mendenhall St. If those are full there is a parking garage one block East on Mendenhall. Hot Springs: ample free parking in the Hot Springs lot
