It was a night out on Van Duzer Street when Allie and Joe first crossed paths. They made eyes at each other from across the room. One of them (allegedly Joe) initiated a conversation and they started a friendship ... on Facebook. Joe messaged Allie one day in 2012 about being in a music video for the legendary Staten Island band The Grand Pantrymen: > "hey allie...do you think you'd be willing to help us out a little more with that video? we need mike gags and a nurse(thats you) to tell justin he's afflicted with some terrible disease. i have a feeling you're qualified for the part." Allie, a smokin' hot nursing student, agreed to play the role in "Human Cigarette" - a cigarette smoke filled video she hopes never to share with her children. One night after that, Allie went to Joe's show at Cargo. His band - the other legendary Staten Island band Paragraph - played. Allie swooned. They talked for a bit after the show, and when Allie was leaving Joe offered to walk her home. Double swoon. They shared their first kiss at her door, across the street from where they first met. Here's where one might say, "The rest is history!" Five years, two apartments, and a cat later, Allie's making an honest man out of Joe. Who knew an anti-smoking song could cause two people to fall madly in love and spend the rest of their lives together?
