Jianna and Anthony first met at the University of Scranton in 2012 and, well, it was hardly love at first sight. Allegedly, Anthony used a cheesy pick-up line that he likely regrets to this day. It took Anthony about a year to recover from that introduction, but Jianna would eventually agree to “just one dinner.” And now, here they are almost six years later!
On December 13, 2018 Anthony invited Jianna to have dinner with him and his father at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club. To Jianna's surprise, Anthony had been planning this night for months and his father would not be attending. When they arrived at the restaurant, Anthony told Jianna that he wanted to show her the wine cellar as a potential spot for his law school graduation party. She thought it was a great idea as Anthony's dad was apparently running late. She headed out of the foyer and down the cellar stairs and found a table set for two, candles, and a bottle of champagne on ice. Jianna, feeling a bit confused, turned around and saw Anthony nervously standing with a ring in his hand. Unable to say much he got down on one knee--she said yes--and the rest is history.
