Ryan and Diandra’s story began on a warm summer evening in 2016 at the URI Bay Campus. Just two high schoolers surrounded by friends, they crossed paths at the beach—catching only glimpses of each other that night. Diandra remembers seeing Ryan in a construction hat walking through the woods, while Ryan recalls spotting Diandra in her sweatshirt, shorts, and wavy hair. Neither knew then how important that moment would become. A few Snapchat messages later, they exchanged numbers—and soon after, Ryan asked Diandra on their first date. He pulled up in his loud (and unforgettable!) green truck, and the two headed to Applebee’s before making their way to Narragansett Town Beach. The night ended with their first kiss... and a driving lesson in the parking lot. After a few months of getting to know each other, they made it official. Since then, Ryan and Diandra have grown up together—navigating high school proms, college, new careers, and all the milestones in between. In 2022, they moved in together in North Kingstown, where they’ve spent the last few years building a life filled with cozy mornings, shared routines, and laughter at the end of every day. In August 2024, Ryan planned a heartfelt proposal—complete with photographers, a Newport harbor cruise, and a celebratory dinner with family. The festivities continued all weekend, including a surprise plane ride over Narragansett Bay, surrounded by their loved ones. Through the years, Ryan and Diandra have found joy in life’s simple pleasures: beach days, boat rides, game nights with friends, family gatherings, and evenings curled up on the couch watching TV. Their beloved husky, Denali, was part of so many of those memories and will always hold a special place in their hearts. Together, they’ve learned to balance each other's strengths—Ryan's the cook, Diandra keeps things organized—and they’ve always been each other’s biggest cheerleaders. Their love is grounded in open communication, mutual respect, and a shared vision for the future. Now, they couldn’t be more excited to celebrate their wedding day surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. They’re so grateful for your love and support—and can’t wait to dance the night away as husband and wife! Looking ahead, Ryan and Diandra dream of buying a home on a big piece of land, traveling the world, and one day starting a family.
