Best Man
Lauren and I met in 2004 in the cafeteria of our high school. We sat next to each other on the floor, because we had nowhere else to sit. We both thought the other was the weird one and it turns out we were both right. We’ve been the best of friends ever since; we've been family. Now Anthelme is a part of the family. They are together today despite millions of obstacles. I'd say it's luck if I didn't know how much work and faith it took. It's beautiful. I love Lauren and Anthelme.
Maid of Honor
I've known Lolo since we were little kids, having lots of sleep overs, playing barbies and making our own Spice Girls videos. I was thrilled to reconnect with Lauren after her travels and have loved the hours we spend chatting. I'm so glad I get to be a part of the happy couple's life and especially the wedding planning process! I'm a recent grad of the St. Thomas engineering program, am married to groomsman Ryan, and have two cuddly cats, R2D2 & C3PO.

I met Lauren while working together at Project SUCCESS. We quickly bonded over our passion for community, travel, and international development. I remember the day Lauren told me about Anthelme and their decision to start the Fiancé Visa process. After witnessing their journey together, I'm thrilled to be a part of their special day!
Groomsman
I met Lauren a few years after I first moved to Minneapolis at various gatherings through the amazing circle of friends we still have. I always loved hearing her stories of traveling abroad. During which, she met the wonderful man she has chosen to spend her life with. I look forward to the beautiful wedding and to our continued friendship.

When I got to know Lauren and Anthelme through my wife Sara, the Maid of Honor, they quickly taught me that French doesn't make any sense to me, and that you don't have to speak it to know how much they love each another. They have shown me nothing but warm openess, certainly an extension of the love that they share, and I can't wait to watch them grow together. And I'm taking credit for naming the cats here and now.

Lauren was one of the first people I met when I moved to Minneapolis from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Shortly after we met, she began her adventures abroad. When she returned, I got a chance to get to know her better, and our friendship grew very quickly. I met Anthelme through skype one evening while sharing a glass of wine at home with Lauren. I tried to communicate with him with my very limited French. Needless to say, we had a lot of laughs that night due to miscommunication! I’m so excited to be a part of this beautiful couple’s life and to be able to watch them grow in love.

I met Lauren through volunteering at Radio K, the University of Minnesota's college radio station. Our friendship grew over a shared love for travel, music, francophone culture and a common group of friends. I'm ecstatic to see my creative, adventurous friend start a new chapter of her life with Anthelme, whose sincerity and laid-back demeanor is bound to complement Lauren for years to come.

I met Lauren playing loud rock shows in smokey basements. I'm stoked about being in this wedding because Anthelme is a boss. I'm still in a rock band if any of y'all needs one.

Lauren and I met many moons ago through dating best friends. Though our partnerships ended, Lauren and I have been close ever since. My heart is overjoyed to witness the marriage between Anthelme and Lauren! It feels so beautiful for me to be able to say, “Yes. This is the partner for you.” I so look forward to celebrating their union now and for all the years to come.
