The sooner we know the better, but our RSVP deadline is April 30th 2026. If we haven't received an RSVP by April 30th, we will assume that you will not be attending.
Our wedding will be cocktail attire, but we aren't picky. Don't feel like you have to go buy something new. Wear something nice that you feel comfortable in! The bridesmaids will be wearing dark wine red/burgundy dresses and the groomsmen will be wearing grey suits.
During the cocktail hour there will be a Charcuterie Board and Spinach Artichoke dip. We will have a buffet style dinner serving Grilled Lemon Garlic Salmon, Mesquite Grilled Tri-Tip, and Marinated Chicken as entrees. We will also be serving a Spring Mix Salad with raspberry vinaigrette, seasonal berries, gorgonzola cheese crumbles, and candied pecans. Our other sides will include Fresh Baked Rolls and Butter, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Wild Rice Pilaf, and Seasoned Green Beans.
We will have a bar for our guests at no cost to them. We will be serving beer and wine, plus two specialty cocktails picked by the bride and groom for everyone to enjoy all night! We will also have assorted sodas and juice available as non-alcoholic options. Please do NOT bring any outside alcohol, the venue does not allow this and are very strict on this rule.
Please look over the food we will be serving in the "What's to eat" section above. If you see anything that could cause you to have an allergic reaction, please let us know so we can inform our caterer to see what accommodations can be made. Even if you think we know about it, please let us know anyway. You can reach out to Peter or Lola directly, or email us at peter.lola.wedding@gmail.com
There will be complimentary valet parking at The Oviatt starting at 5:30pm
The venue is a rooftop penthouse in downtown LA. There will be both indoor and outdoor spaces during the event. The ceremony, dinner, and dancing will be outside while cocktail hour, the bar, and other social spaces will be inside.
Unless a guest is included in your invitation, then we have not reserved space for your plus one. Please refer to the “How should I RSVP” section above on how to confirm who in your party will be attending.
Yes! The ceremony and the reception will both be at The Oviatt. (617 S. Olive St., Los Angeles, CA 90014)
We will be doing a honeymoon fund in lieu of a typical wedding registry. We live in a small apartment and have lived together for several years now, so we have accumulated many things to fill out our home in that time. We would greatly appreciate support in making a dream honeymoon come true that we wouldn't normally be able to do ourselves!
Valet is available to guests starting at 5:30pm, which would be the earliest guests could start to arrive. Aim to arrive between 5:30pm and 6pm. **Please be advised that it is going to be rush hour traffic around the time you will likely be planning on commuting to the venue.**
The upstairs patio is a designated smoking section. Please do not smoke anywhere else in the venue, as it will result in a hefty fine.
There is not a particular place we wish for our guests to stay. There are many options of places to choose from near the venue, and throughout the city of Los Angeles! If you would like to stay close to the venue, we have listed some hotels that are walking distance to the venue under the "travel" tab. Commuting by rental car, Uber, Lyft, and Waymo are also viable options of transportation to the venue if you prefer to stay in another part of LA. For reference, we live in the San Fernando Valley, which can be about an hour north from downtown with traffic. If you have any questions or want some guidance on where to stay, feel free to reach out to us! (peter.lola.wedding@gmail.com)
