Livin’ our love song!

He started his day wanting biscuits & gravy and his go to breakfast beer. She wanted to get her weekend of shenanigans started and a mimosa. Neither of us knew what the universe had in store for us. Doug and Lola had breakfast at The Haymaker in Goodyear that Friday morning and with a little nudge from fate - a love story unfolded. He says I kidnapped him (while that may be true) he definitely didn’t put up a struggle!

This weekend could have not gone any further from what he had planned. It was a weekend with our Tribe heading to our home away from home, Williams. This trip had been planned for months and we were so excited to share the best little town with our best of friends. Little did I know, Doug had a ring in his pocket and a proposal planned. We get there and I felt a cold coming on. I was not going down without a fight, but that was not the case. I ended up getting the flu. Needless to say, I was stuck in the camper for most the weekend. However before I got to that point on Saturday afternoon after breakfast we headed to the Buckskinner lake. It was a beautiful day! I told him I needed to just relax, next thing I know our friends are around us, music is playing, and Doug is tearing up. I never felt so happy when feeling so crappy! And here we are because duhhhhh I SAID YES!!! I do want to tell our Tribe: Freddie & Sonia, Lyle & Amy a big heartfelt thank you for celebrating and supporting Doug on his journey to propose. So happy we shared it with you all!!
