Petra tou Romiou, or Aphrodite's Rock, is a famous sea stack on the coast of Paphos, Cyprus, legendary as the birthplace of the goddess Aphrodite, who emerged from the sea foam there. Nearly five years ago, we followed a beloved local tradition here. It’s said that if you swim around the rock three times (often in the moonlight and counterclockwise) you’ll be blessed with good luck in finding true love. Another charming tradition is searching the nearby beach for heart-shaped pebbles. These small treasures are believed to bring love to whoever finds them. We were lucky enough to discover one ourselves, and to this day we still have our pebble saved as a special memory. 💙
