Nonetheless, both stories are beautiful, and we are super excited to begin this journey of many millions of God-ordained steps!! Sometimes, love begins in the most unexpected places—and in our case, during a global pandemic, through a swipe. It was July 2021. One of us (guess who!) had just tested positive for COVID and was quarantined in a room, armed with tea, tissues, and far too much time. In an attempt to pass the hours, a casual swipe turned into something much more meaningful. A simple “Hi” led to hours-long conversations, laughter that made isolation feel a little less lonely, and a connection that neither of us saw coming. Fast forward, we finally met in person—and things just felt easy. We started off as friends, taking our time and getting to know each other without any pressure. We clicked over shared interests, and good conversations. What started as a spontaneous match during a strange time quickly became something deep, real, and lasting. From adventures, to cheering each other on through life’s milestones, our journey has been full of joy, growth, and gratitude. And now, here we are—getting married, surrounded by the people we love most. We’re so excited to celebrate the next chapter of our story with you!
