Lauramie Hill Homestead

Lauramie Hill Homestead is the family farm of the brides Aunt Beth and Uncle Charlie. Years ago, the farm held an annual hog roast for friends, family, the community, etc. It was the party of parties, so to speak. After 10 years and 10 hogs (approximately), the annual roasts ended in 1998. Aunt Beth and Uncle Charlie have hosted a few family weddings and small get togethers over the years. But according to Logyn, “The hog roasts are what I remember and miss dearly. I only went to a few-and I was only, like, 5 or 6 so I don’t remember a lot of it hahaha. But I do remember the excitement I felt at the hog roasts. The bon fires, the hay ride. And sooo many friends and family members all together. It was the best.”
