In the bustling spring semester of 2017 at The Ohio State University, Drew and Mary's lives took an unexpected turn. During a molecular genetics lecture, Drew spotted Mary across the hall. With a twinkle in his eye and a hint of determination, he knew he had to say hello. They were soon inseparable friends, sharing study sessions in the library by day and indulging in trivia and karaoke by night. That summer, Mary took a leap and visited Drew in Illinois, where she met his family for the first time. The warm welcome she received made her feel right at home. By the time they went on their first official date at Marcella's in Columbus, Ohio, it was clear they were destined for something special as they kicked off their senior year. Within just a couple of months of dating, they knew they had found their other half. When Mary was accepted into Penn State's graduate program, Drew didn't hesitate for a second. With a gleeful, "We're moving to Hershey!" he embarked on a new adventure, taking on sales jobs to support them while Mary pursued her studies. They settled into their first townhome together, navigating the challenges and joys of this new chapter hand in hand. Here, they also welcomed home their two pups, Coco and Maggie. Their journey soon led them to Huntington, WV, where Mary continued her research, and Drew took on various sales roles. Together, they bought their first home, a charming little house on a hill, marking another milestone in their shared life. After Mary completed her dissertation, the couple moved once again - this time to Auburn, Alabama. Shortly after, Drew started work at the same company and the two enjoy seeing each other for much of their days. Drew proposed in Columbus, Ohio, just outside the lecture hall where they met for the first time. They also become homeowners once again, solidifying their place in their beloved Auburn community. From their serendipitous meeting in a lecture hall to the shared dreams and milestones that have followed, their story has been shaped not only by their love for one another but also by the unwavering support of the incredible people around them. With hearts full of gratitude and excitement, they invite you to celebrate their union and the community of love that has brought them to this moment.
