We're getting married!

Our story began overseas in Landstuhl, Germany, where we met while serving in the United States Army. What started as a chance meeting turned into something neither of us could have planned — proof that sometimes the best things in life happen when you least expect them. Clayton made the first move (and thankfully he did!), setting in motion a relationship built on laughter, partnership, and a whole lot of love. From day one, we discovered that even in the busiest seasons of life, we were always better together. One of our favorite memories is a road trip to South Dakota, surrounded by family. Between long stretches of highway, shared stories, and unforgettable views, it became one of those trips you wish could last forever — full of connection, joy, and the kind of moments that turn into lifelong memories. The proposal was nothing short of an adventure. At Bushkill Falls in the Pocono Mountains, with a few unexpected odds stacked against them that day, Clayton got down on one knee. Surrounded by family — and even a few supportive travelers who applauded the moment — Sara said yes. It was perfectly imperfect and completely unforgettable. Clayton is happiest with a fishing rod in hand, watching a game, or diving into a good video game. Sara feels most at home outdoors, creating something in the kitchen, spending time with their cat, or exploring her creative side. Together, we balance each other beautifully — grounded, playful, supportive, and always ready for the next adventure. Now, we're counting down to saying “I do” at Grayce Gardens in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania — surrounded by the people who have supported our journey from the very beginning. What started in Germany has led us here, and we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you.
