One of our favorite local brewery's is the second largest brewery in Golden. It is within walking distance of the Colorado School of Mines and has become a staple in our lives. Would highly recommend asking for glitter in your beer.
Outside of breathtaking views and amazing hikes, the Garden of the Gods also offers various tours and a visitor center that features a Geo-Trekker theater. We would recommend at least making time to drive through the area to get a small glimpse of all the beauty Colorado has to offer.
Snooze is known for its creativity with a menu of inventive pancakes, bold twists on benedicts, lighter breakfast options and more. It is a vibrant, retro chain, and by far one of our favorite places for brunch.
The Manitou Cliff Dwellings are a privately-owned tourist attraction consisting of replica Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings and interpretive exhibits located just west of Colorado Springs. This is a super cool spot to check out.
This is the crowning jewel of the more than 300-acre Philip S. Miller Park. The Miller Activity Complex (MAC) is the Town's newest 64,443 square foot, two story recreational facility. MAC has multiple trails, a big park, an exercise playground, water slides and so much more. There is something for everyone here! We were able to go zip lining this past summer with some of our cousins and we had a blast.
This long-standing brewpub is popular with locals because of its classic tavern fare, beer to go & HDTVs. They make a large selection of their beer in house. They also have an amazing homemade cream soda and some delicious food.
