Great news! Guest capacities for weddings and other events have increased in New York State WITHOUT testing! For more information, please visit the NYS website linked here: https://www.governor.ny.gov/news/governor-cuomo-governor-murphy-and-governor-lamont-announce-significant-easing-covid-19
NYS guidelines regarding weddings and events are constantly being updated and restrictions continue to be lifted. Please visit www.governor.ny.gov for the latest information on regulations regarding event attendance. At this time, our venue is limited to 150 guests who are able to provide proof of full vaccination, a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the event, or a negative rapid test within 6 hours of the event. Masks are required to be worn when not seated or eating. Again, guidance is being updated regularly and we are optimistic that we will see fewer and fewer restrictions come July.
We have made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding reception to Monday, July 5, 2021 (Fourth of July Observed). While we are still getting married on November 8, 2020, and we know this is not the experience we ever wanted or dreamed of, the health, safety, and comfort of our family and friends come first. But no matter what, we are still so super excited to be getting married, and starting our lives together despite all the coronavirus craziness. Please be on the look out in your mail for an updated "Save the Date." We sincerely thank everyone for your continued understanding, love, and support.
At this point in time, we are optimistic that we will be able to move forward with our wedding as planned. However, we are also being realistic, and understand that we are living through unprecedented times. In the coming months, we will continue to monitor the situation and seek guidance from all those who are working with us to make the happiest day of our lives happen. Ultimately, we want to ensure that our guests stay healthy and that we are able to celebrate the way we should - without masks covering our smiles or having to dance 6 feet apart!
