FAQs

The FAQ section is a work in progress. We will continue to add to it as questions arise.
Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. We do not want to look at a bunch of phones when looking over our professionally taken photos!

Question

Will this be a kid-free wedding?

Answer

We respectfully ask that guests not bring children under the age of 10. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis!

Question

Do I have to bring a gift?

Answer

Wayne and I honestly thought that we would have to settle for a courthouse wedding and house-party. The opportunity to have such a lovely wedding with all friends and family in attendance is the best gift that we could ask for! If you would like to bring a gift, we ask that you make a monetary donation to be used for home-buying, education expenses, etc.

Question

What food will be served?

Answer

We are still working on a menu for the reception. We will publish this once it has been completed. Prior to the ceremony, we will be offering some light snacks such as finger sandwiches. Cocktails, beer, and wine will also be made available for guests.

Question

Will the bar be open or cash?

Answer

This will be a BYOA and self-serve event. We will still buy some beer and liquor ourselves that everyone is welcome to.
