How we met

We met at a Junior Boys concert that I had no intention of going to but was invited last minute to attend with a friend. Turned out we had a mutual friend Patty and the moment I walked in I noticed Logan from the corner of my eye. Yes, I tried to play hard to get :) Aside from his stunning good looks his funny sense of humor was an instant attraction for me... next thing you know we are kissing within five minutes of meeting each other and that was that! Every date after that I just knew he was going to be the one. I know that sounds so cliche and cheesy but it really does exist and he is my person. His charming personality and ability to make me laugh even when I'm angry makes me cherish every moment with him ~ VAL

The Proposal

How It Went Down.

It was a September morning when we hopped on a flight from Madrid to Naples. I had had 4 hours of sleep in two days, and I was extremely nervous for obvious reasons. Well, it was all planned out that I would surprise Val with a car and a personal driver to pick us up at the Naples Airport. However, I had told her that we were going to have to take a city bus to the dock and then take two boats to reach our final destination. As we arrived Val started walking towards the city bus pick up, but I guided her to where the driver was picking us up. That is when we met Tony, and he made a soon to be memorable occasion an even more memorable occasion. We had a scenic, narrated drive towards the Amalfi Coast, where Tony pulled off the road at a private Lemon Grove to give us an opportunity to "Take Some Pictures." As Val and I got out of the car and began taking in the sights, Tony pulled out some Champagne, which Val just thought it was part of the trip. I took a big gulp and asked Val to come over to check out the view and take a picture, which she found odd since I don't often ask to do that. While Val was looking at an insect (an ant not me), I told her that I loved her and wanted to spend the rest of my life with her and got down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage. She was completely taken back and had no idea, but thankful she said yes. I feel blessed every day I wake up next to her and I am excited I am going to get to spend the rest of my life with her.
