We understand that the venue is a bit far out for a lot of our loved ones and we are SO thankful that you're making the trip to celebrate with us! We've done the research for you and provided a list of hotels close by along with the travel time to the venue in the above "travel" tab. We hope this makes it easier to find to a room!
We are so excited to see ya'll get prettied up! :) Cocktail/semi-formal attire please. Also, we would LOVE to see everyone have fun with their outfits! Be bold, wear colors and patterns. We don't get to dress up often, so show up and show out! *Please, no jeans, flip-flops, ballcaps, or shorts. *Of course, please refrain from wearing white or cream as well.
Of course! We will include all children invited on your invitation. We do have 2 requests for those with little ones: -If your child is crying or getting upset during the ceremony, please take them aside to give them a moment to calm down. -We will be serving dinner, dancing, and having family friendly fun for the first two hours of the reception, and we can't wait to have your child included! After 8pm, the evening will be adult oriented.
We ask that you only bring the people listed on your invitation.
Duh! ;) We will have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available. Drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you!!
We will be serving dinner and drinks, but we recommend bringing some cash for tipping the bartenders, as well as a surprise vendor! They will also be accepting venmo tips!
The ceremony will take place outside and will move indoors for the reception. Ladies, please keep this in mind when choosing your shoes!
We are so excited to have an "unplugged" ceremony!! This means no phones or cameras. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present while we say "I do." We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and you. We promise to share these photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, we encourage you to take as many photos and videos as you like! Also, when you post them, don't forget to use our hashtag... #ringmeupscotty :)
Please be aware that due to the location of the venue, it might be hard to obtain an uber or lyft after the reception. It's not impossible, but we do anticipate a scarcity in late-night transportation, so please plan accordingly.
For sure! When you arrive, please stop by the check in office for your parking pass. Just let them know you're here for the Scott wedding! There will be plenty of clearly marked parking at the venue.
