We are firm believers that, like Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, God makes everything beautiful in his time- our love is proof that he does. We spent a large part of our lives searching and praying for each other, but it was never the right time for our paths to cross. In October of 2022, we were both still searching and had all but given up on finding each other. However, God knew that it was time to "make things beautiful." After almost not liking each other's profile, we were matched on a dating website. We started talking and realized that we had a lot in common- other than the fact that we were two hours away from each other. We decided to meet at Flat Creek Baptist Church and we immediately knew that there was something special between us. We went on our first date on November 22, 2022, and the rest is history. After almost nine months of dating, we became engaged and started to build our lives together. Throughout our lives we have had many trials and struggles, however, they led us to each other. We give God the glory for bringing us together and creating us for each other. We look forward to sharing this special time with all of those who have helped shape us into the people we are today. We hope that our love story will bring a bit of encouragement to anyone who is struggling to wait on God's timing. Always remember, no matter how long it takes, he makes ALL THINGS beautiful.
