The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Hunter is his old Toyota Tacoma truck. Why you might ask, well thats because it was parked out front of his friends house the day I met him. His friend happened to be my friends older brother. When we walked into her house and I saw him, I thought I fell in love right then and there. Turns out he wasn't into 11 year olds LOL. Fast forward 10 more years; I was 21, he was 25. I was working at a salon and he walked in to get his hair cut. I immediately knew who he was, it was a face I could never forget. I brought him back to my chair and we talked and talked while I cut his hair. When he left I was so mad I didn't ask for his number, I added him on facebook and sent him a message. We eventually went on a date, it was like we had known each other for years. The conversation went on and on, no awkward breaks, no weird silences, just him and I zoning out everything around us. From that day on I knew we were going to be something special.
It was about to be the best day of my life and I had no clue. Hunter and I were on a cruise with his family and that day we were docked in Belize. When we got off the ship we did some looking around for a nice relaxing beach. We took a tour of Belize city, the old Rum Factory, then eventually made it to Kukumba Beach. We ate lunch at this cute spot on the beach, then went to find a nice sitting area. When we got to our spot and put all of our stuff down, Hunter suggested we all go on a walk to check out the end of the beach. Not thinking anything was about to happen, we all started walking towards what at first just looked like a random area of concrete. When we got closer we realized it was a helicopter landing pad that was also the end of the beach. We walked up on to the helicopter pad and thats when he looked over at his mom and gave her this look. She pulled out a little box from her bag (that she refused to ever put down). Still not sure what was going on, he got down on one knee. When he asked me to marry him, of course without hesitation, i said YES!
