Our Story

It all started freshman year at Appalachian State — ROLL NEERS! Raegan had chosen to live in a dorm designed for students with similar majors, mostly those on the medical track. Somehow, fate (and a bit of dorm assignment magic) placed two business majors on the same floor — and one of them happened to be Logan. At first, Logan was just the friendly guy down the hall who offered to help Raegan with her math homework. Those late-night study sessions in the common room slowly turned into friendly conversations, and before long, it became clear that the two of them shared more than just a love for learning. A small crush blossomed into something real, and before they knew it, they were spending every spare moment together — from bundled-up winter walks across campus to cheering for their Mountaineers on Saturdays. Throughout college, they became inseparable. They grew together, supported each other through exams and adventures, and built the kind of relationship that felt easy and effortless — the kind where two people just fit. When graduation came, life pulled them in different directions. Logan landed his first job in Raleigh, while Raegan began her next chapter at Western Carolina University, working toward her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. For three years, they navigated the challenges of long distance — countless phone calls, weekend visits, and more highway miles than they could count. Through it all, their love never wavered. When Raegan finished grad school, she began applying for jobs all over North Carolina. By chance — or maybe fate again — she was offered a position in Morehead City. It felt like life coming full circle. For Raegan, a lifelong mountain girl from Asheville, this was a big change. She’d spent her whole life surrounded by the Blue Ridge — from her undergraduate years at App State to the Smoky Mountain beauty of Western Carolina. But Morehead had a special connection, too. Logan grew up in New Bern, just a short drive from the coast. Some of his best memories are of summers spent in Morehead City and Atlantic Beach with friends and family. So when Raegan accepted the job, it felt like the stars had aligned — she was heading toward a new adventure, and Logan was, in a way, coming home. In 2025, they finally closed the chapter on long distance and started their life together on the coast — just a few minutes away from the ocean, sand, and sunshine. They now are beginning a new chapter in life with their two dogs, Tyson and Brigsly (Brigs), who instantly made themselves the heart of their little family. Today, as they look forward to their wedding, Raegan and Logan can’t help but smile at how life’s twists and turns brought them exactly where they’re meant to be — together. From the mountains to the sea, with every chapter written by love.
