It's finally happening!

Matthew and Logan met in 2007 - Logan was a freshman and he was a senior. After constantly begging her parents for days to let her go out with someone soooo much older than her (it's funny to think how 3 years makes so much of a difference when you are young), Logan's parents finally gave in. It wasn't long at all until they were inseparable. They swore they would get married some day. A few years went by and it was time for Logan to go to college. Matthew was about to graduate SMC, and they mutually decided to attend the University of South Carolina. Go Cocks! They stayed together for about 2 years before they mutually made the tough decision to go their separate ways and experience college on their own. They both believed in the 'if it's meant to be, it'll be' rule. Years went by, but Matthew and Logan were never out of touch. If there ever was a time that she needed him he would answer on the first call and vice versa. Late one night in early 2018 was one of those times. Logan was going through a rough patch and had been telling my friend, JP, the story of her and Matt and how he had always been there for her. She told him 'I bet if we called him right now he would pick up,' and sure enough, what do you know? He did. After that night, JP swore up and down that we were meant to be together, and he was right. That was the night that their love story started back up right where it left off, and they can't wait to see what the next chapter brings.❤️

On April, 7th 2019 Matthew somehow drug Logan's closest friends out (who are not very outdoorsy) to see their favorite waterfalls, Triple Falls & High Falls, with us. At the bottom of the most beautiful waterfall around the area, Matthew dropped down on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of my life with him. Easiest YES she's ever said. :)
