Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Marissa Guttman and Logan Schlosser
We love Minneapolis and are excited to share a few of our favorite places with you!

The Lowry

2112 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55405
, (612) 341-2112

Where it all began for us, this is where we had our first date! Needless to say, it went well :) Great food, one of our go to places for Brunch!

Brit's Pub

1110 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55403
, (612) 332-3908

If the weather cooperates this is one of the best rooftops in the cities. Also, for any soccer fans this is the best place to watch a match.

Red Cow North Loop

208 North 1st Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55401
, (612) 238-0050

Logan and Marissa count this as one of their favorite restaurants in the cities, and regularly head there to spend time with Logan's family. We could recommend something particular from the menu, but let's be honest, it's all good.

Minneapolis Stone Arch Bridge

100 Portland Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55401
, (612) 230-6400

On every go-to visitors guide to Minneapolis, but rightfully so as the view of the city beautiful!

Minneapolis Institute of Art

2400 3rd Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55404
, (612) 870-3000

Logan drags Marissa here from time to time, their collection includes works by Rembrandt, Van Gogh, and Monet. The museum is quite large and a great way to spend time if you have several hours to spare.

Lake of the Isles

Minneapolis, MN

With the wedding taking place in October, this recommendation is weather permitting. If the weather decides to play nice, a walk around Lake of the Isles is a perfect way to spend some time. Pro Tip: we like to go to Isles Bun and Coffee (a great coffee and bakery shop) first, grab a Cinnamon roll or some pup tails and eat them on the patio with Winston, then head over to take a lap around the lake!

Marvel Bar

50 2nd Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55401
, (612) 206-3929

Logan suggested this spot for our third date and when you look it up it is a super cool speakeasy bar with no sign from the street. So Marissa thought he was trying to impress her with a fancy spot, but once inside she noticed they have Cheetos on the menu.

Surly Brewing Co.

520 Malcolm Avenue Southeast, Minneapolis, MN 55414
, (763) 999-4040

Great beer and great food as well. On top of that, this is the venue for several concerts Marissa and Logan have attended over the years.

Psycho Suzi's Motor Lounge

1900 Marshall Street Northeast, Minneapolis, MN 55418
, (612) 788-9069

Lively, Polynesian-themed lounge with tiki decor, American bar fare, cocktails & a riverfront patio. They have great food & festive drinks!!

Betty Danger's Country Club

2501 Marshall Street Northeast, Minneapolis, MN 55418
, (612) 315-4997

They refer to themselves as a "Kooky Country Club" and there really isn't anywhere like it! They have great drinks, food, a ferris wheel and minigolf! At Betty Danger’s, country club life is a little less dull.
