Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We kindly ask our guests to dress in formal attire. Suit + Tie and cocktail dresses bare minimum, tuxes and gowns are welcome. We want everyone to feel comfortable and stylish while still keeping in the spirit of the celebration. If you have any questions or need outfit inspiration, feel free to reach out!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony begins at 4PM so please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes in advance so you can find a seat.

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will have shuttle buses that will transport guests to and from the wedding venue. This will be available for guests staying at the TownePlace Suites in Grafton. Please select if you plan on using our shuttle bus when you RSVP.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Due to venue capacity and planning, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus-one, it will be noted there. Thank you for understanding!

While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this will give everyone a chance to relax, let loose, and fully enjoy the evening with us. Thank you for understanding!

Is there parking and can I leave my car at the venue overnight?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available at the venue. Guests are welcome to leave their cars overnight if needed, but we kindly ask that vehicles be picked up by 10 AM the following morning. Please don’t drink and drive—your safety is important to us!

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors—weather permitting—so we recommend keeping an eye on the forecast and bringing a light layer just in case. The cocktail hour will be a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, and the reception will be held indoors. No matter the weather, we’re planning a beautiful celebration and can’t wait to share it with you!

We’ll be serving a delicious meal with options to accommodate a variety of dietary preferences. If you have any specific dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know—we want to make sure everyone is well-fed and happy!

We’ve reserved room blocks at TownePlace Suites (of Grafton) and The Harborview (located right on Lake Michigan in Port Washington). Be sure to mention our wedding when booking to receive the group rate! We recommend booking early, as summer weekends can fill up quickly!
