It was a fall day in 2020. At the time, Lexie was living with 7 other girls and going through yet *another* round of quarantine. Even though they were locked down, it was the last day to pickup a tree they had purchased from a nursery so one of the girls called Logan to use his truck. Lexie remembers looking at herself thinking "this is the absolute ugliest I've ever left the house" (her multiple days stuck inside were rough). She then said to herself "what if this is the first time I meet my husband?" to which she replied to herself, "ehh he's just gonna have to love me anyways". Logan pulled up in the truck and the girls ran out to get out before their other roommate saw them sneak out. This was the first time they met and after became the best of friends!

After multiple trips alone to Walmart and 1 viewing of Shrek, Lexie asked Logan "Why do you keep wanting to hang out with me?" to which he replied, "I was planning on asking you on a date this next week!" The day before their first date we accidentally hung out for 7 hours (a good sign!). Unfortunately, Logan's truck was in the shop the day they had planned their date so Lexie had to drive on their first date (something she's never let him live down lol). They spent the day at Potem Falls and attempted to polar plunge but Lexie didn't tell him she hated cold water. They obviously didn't get easily tired of each other but despite that, decided to just be friends. After that, they became the best of friends for the next few years. All their friends bet on them getting together (some quite literally made Lexie and Logan separately bet $10,000 they'd eventually get married). Seems like they were onto something.

March 2023 came and it was Samantha, Lexie's best friend's wedding. Logan was living in Missouri at the time and he had planned to come to Tulsa to see Lexie (& unbeknownst to her, to scout out his feelings for her). The day after the wedding, sitting on Sam & Cody's couch, Logan told Lexie all the things he loved about her & asked what she thought about giving dating another shot. She wasn't totally sure but thought "we'll both only become better people from this". April 10, 2023 (exactly 2 years after their first date) they officially started dating. They made it official but in that conversation, they also admitted they both "knew exactly how this was going to end". They started dating long distance from California-Missouri but worked it out to see each other at least once a month before getting engaged in July!

Lexie and Logan have both moved to Tulsa so start settling their life before the wedding. They are enjoying their new jobs, cooking dinner together, watching a lot of hockey and setting up their new home! They absolutely CAN'T wait for April 22nd to celebrate with all of their best friends and family from all over the country + the world.
