Glen Ellis Falls is a large waterfall that is nearby in Jackson, NH and only requires a short walk on a well maintained path. Growing up, my family would bring us to the falls as a fun quick trip outdoors. Leah and I have also visited the falls many times so it holds a special meaning to her and I.
Lake Durand
Another favorite location of ours...Durand Lake in Randolph, NH. Leah and I have visited this spot many times in all seasons and even had our engagement photos taken here. It's quiet, beautiful, and gives a good glimpse of what the White Mountains of New Hampshire are about.
Santa's Village
Santa's Village is a Christmas themed amusement park near our venue that features rides and a full water park. It was always special whenever we would go to Santa's growing up
Copper Pig Brewery
Copper Pig Brewery is consistently ranked one of the top breweries in New Hampshire and is only minutes from our venue
Omni Mount Washington Resort
The views of Mount Washington from the Omni Mount Washington Hotel are spectacular. We highly recommend a walk around the resorts wrap-around porch for some scenic views.
Mary's Pizza Inc.
If you've never had Mary's Pizza, you need to stop in. In operation since 1947, they hands down have the best pizza. I've grown up eating here every Friday night so the memories are truly special. As I was building a relationship with Leah my family introduced her to Mary's and she passed the test...she loves it too! Large pepperoni pizza. Classic!
Yokohama
Another favorite restaurant of mine growing up and since introducing it to Leah, it's a favorite of hers. Chicken fingers, fried rice, and a mai tai (strawberry daiquiri for her) and you can't go wrong.
White Mountain Cafe & Bookstore
I love coffee and a good breakfast sandwich! White Mountain Cafe will not disappoint. 24 ounce iced Eye Opener and you'll be very pleased
Moat Mountain Smokehouse & Brewing Co.
If you're willing to travel a little further...Moat Mountain Smokehouse and Brewery is a favorite of our's. Their Czech Pilsner is still one of my favorite beers to date
