Mexico City's international airport is called Benito Juarez International Airport. It is about a 90 min. drive from Mexico City to Tepoztlan by car. Feel free to drive yourself, rent, or hop on a pre-scheduled bus from us!

Please bring Pesos

While USD is widely accepted in Mexican coastal towns that cater to tourism, it is not accepted in Mexico City or surrounding areas. Most major restaurants will take all international CC's but it's nice to have some Pesos for souvenirs, tips, or street tacos. Feel free to exchange cash at home OR use an ATM in the city to grab some.

Uber

Uber is widely used in Mexico and very safe + affordable. We prefer this as our main mode of transport getting around CDMX (Cuidad de Mexico) over taxis. Since Ubers are likely to be more scarce in Tepoztlan, we will look into transport & reputable taxi companies before hand.

Rental Car

There are several major car rental companies at the airport OR in the city like Enterprise or Alamo in case you'd prefer to have your own car during your stay. Note - in Mexico City, most hotels & airbnbs have parking garages, many restaurants have valet, and paid street parking is available. But, it is a major city so make sure you're a comfortable driver!
