Maid of Honor
Kendyl & Gabby are cousins that are more like sisters. Gabby is responsible for Kendyl's love of Taylor Swift and they went to London together in August 2024 to see the Era's Tour (fun fact: the attached picture was taken at the 2018 Taylor Swift Reputation tour)! Once Kendyl was old enough to go out with Gabby, Ocean City didn't know what it had in store - the jukebox at Kirby's hated to see us coming... If you see Wilbur at the wedding, it's going to be a good night (IYKYK). Gabby lives in Nashville, TN.
Best Man
Logan and Chase met through a fortuitous freshman year English class where they learned basically nothing and never looked back. Through many years, cities, career changes, saltwater fishing trips, hunting expeditions and pour (get it?) decisions they have helped keep each other sane and focused on what really matters in life. Chase and his wife Teresa live in Ft. Worth with their huskies Remus and Taylor.
Matron of Honor
Kasey & Kendyl have been best friends for 15 years, inseparable since 7th grade, and can quote the entire movie "Sisters" with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler (yes, it's annoying). They spent every minute together during middle and high school and have managed to somehow grow even closer in adulthood. Kasey is pregnant with her first baby girl (and my goddaughter <3) so she won't be attending the wedding in person but will absolutely be there in spirit! Kasey lives in Bel Air, MD.
Groomsman
Paul and Logan met their freshman year at Texas state (this will be a recurring theme) at arguably the worst dorm option imaginable, good ole Retama hall. They grew to be friends over many years of living together, both in the dorms then in the cheapest apartments they could find. Paul is an incredible chef and is the main reason Logan learned to cook in college. Paul is an avid fisherman and Logan accepts only slight responsibility for Paul’s fly tying addiction. Paul and his wife Sarah live in Dallas with their 2 amazing children Theo and Vivienne.
Bridesmaid
Abby & Kendyl met in college at Salisbury and became particulary close on a spring break trip in Cancun where they were paired up for safety (Abby could of done better on a particular island that Kendyl may or may not have been left on) (she was obviously found). If Kendyl wants to go on an international or spontaneous trip, it's Abby who will agree 100% of the time. They've been to Greece, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and Mexico so far! Abby gives the best fashion advice and has skyrocketed on TikTok as a successful influencer. Abby lives in Neptune Beach, FL.
Groomsman
Kendyl can take full credit (blame) for Logan and Parker becoming friends. Parker is incredibly talented at sand volleyball, which was where they were introduced, and he was charitable enough to let Logan be his 2’s partner for several years down in Florida. Through a shared love of music, fishing (you’re getting the theme here) dodging hurricanes and extreme swamp sitting, Parker and Logan had many Florida man adventures. Parker currently resides in Fort Myers Florida and gracefully handles the incessant requests to move to Texas.
Bridesmaid
Corey & Kendyl met in college at Salisbury and bonded over car rides in Kendyl's Jetta to the rap music of 2016 that has yet to be beat. Corey and Abby joined Kendyl on a Business School study abroad (as Education and Nursing majors) to Costa Rica their junior year where they made memories still talked about today. If you come across Corey at the wedding, be sure to get one of her famous "Corey Hugs" (don't make it weird) because they are all-healing. Corey lives in Annapolis, MD.
Groomsman
Thomas is another veteran of Retama Hall, and shares many of the same hobbies as Logan and Paul - namely anything outside. Watching Thomas tackle a baby goat in the middle of nowhere TX on the side of I-10 is a core memory, you should ask him about it. Really happened. Thomas was often the voice of reason to Logan’s college shenanigans and also a founding member of their short lived gang, the secret handshake still remains. Thomas lives with his wife Chelsea and 2 beautiful daughters, Eleanor & Genevieve, outside of Dallas.
Bridesmaid
Delaney & Kendyl met in college at Salisbury and lived together for three years where they survived the roommate post-it war (IYKYN lol). They used to wake up in the morning and yell at each other through the walls about where to get breakfast after a night out at Brew. Delaney was also a second mom to Oakley and lived to tell the tales. Kendyl & Delaney both moved to Florida after college where they were only a 2 hr drive away. Delaney then moved to Tucson, AZ where Kendyl and Logan lived for a month on their cross country trip. Delaney now lives in Wilmington, NC.
Groomsman
Logan and Dan met in Gartner’s training academy during a painful round robin introductory exercise. Logan stood up, said “I’m buying a boat, let me know if you want to come fishing” and Dan was the only one brave enough to volunteer. They were roommates for a few years in FL, caught tons of fish, smacked down tons of ducks, allegedly wrestled gators and generally lived the Florida man life. Dan rows a canoe faster than any human should be able to and currently lives in mountains outside of Denver CO.
Bridesmaid
Bristol is Logan's sister and Kendyl's soon-to-be sister-in-law. Bristol is attempting to cure Kendyl's black thumb with her gardening skills (it's not going well) and makes amazing sourdough bread (she will be providing sourdough starters to all guests at the wedding as favors) (not really, sorry to disappoint). Kendyl got Bristol back into fantasy books and she has since far surpassed Kendyl's book count in the genre. Bristol lives in Granbury, TX with her husband Tony and 4 kids, Sydney, Ryan, Rosie, & Kristen.
Groomsman
Brenden and Logan met through a mutual acquaintance Logan’s senior year at TXST. The introductions were basically “you like to fish and hunt?” “Yeah”. That led to years of friendship. Brenden’s family owns “the ranch” that Logan lived & worked on for a few years before he decided to join the tech world - those years still supply some of the best stories he has. Brenden and Logan canoed through the boundary waters in Minnesota/Canada for 16 days without resupply, without killing each other and only terrifying a handful of Boy Scouts. Brenden lives in San Marcos, TX with his wife Haley and 2 sons, Everett and Wesley.
