FAQs

Question

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

The attire is considered cocktail. We suggest that our guests wear any color suit or a dress shirt with a tie for the males. For the women we suggest a cocktail type of dress with a block heel or flat shoe. The ceremony is outside on cobblestone/grass. Please no flip flops, jeans, hats, t-shirts, or sneakers.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your babies, we are requesting that ONLY immediate family members are allowed to bring their children. These children's names will be listed on your invitation and your RSVP via our website. We encourage you to use this as a night out for yourself.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and reception are both located at the Millstone venue. There will be a day of coordinator directing where to park and how to get to the ceremony location.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one you will see it on your invitation and they will appear under your name when you RSVP. If you have any questions or concerns, please ask Jeff or I.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! If you look under the section "travel" there are websites and phone numbers for hotels we have courtesy blocks at. Our venue is roughly an hour and 20 minutes away from Knoxville so staying local to the venue will allow us to spend more time with you.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We suggest you arriving around 20-30 minutes before the ceremony begins. This allows time to park and select your seats so that you aren't walking down the aisle at the same time as the bride!

Question

Is there a bride and groom side for the ceremony?

Answer

Please pick a seat not a side! Two families are becoming one and we would love nothing more than for all of our favorite people to mingle and get to know one another. We just ask that the first two rows are reserved for our loved ones in heaven and the immediate family members of both the bride and the groom.

Question

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors but the reception will be indoor.

Question

Will you be serving alcohol at your wedding?

Answer

Yes! We know how to have a good time and we want you to have a good time too, but please drink responsibly. Beer, wine, and champagne will be served once cocktail hour begins plus 2 signature premade cocktails.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please be courteous and RSVP no later than April 24th. This timeline allows us to provide final counts for various vendors. Otherwise bring a lawn chair and a sandwich!
