We're Getting Married!

Our story goes all the way back to middle school. We first met on our first day of the 5th grade but our love story didn't start there. It started a few years later in the 8th grade. We started dating which in middle school means holding hand on the play ground, late night phone calls/text message/msn, and going to dances. Our 8th grade dance is actually where we had our first kiss. But months later when high school started and we went our separate ways. We never lost touch though anytime life got tough he was always there. We decided a few years later the end of our junior year of school to come back to each other. Now five (going on six) years later we are finally tying the knot!

We had decided this year for Valentine's Day we were going to take a little get away for a night and go to St.Louis. Go have dinner and just have a night to ourselves. Which was a great gesture since I was a stay at home mom at the time. We get to the hotel and get checked then get ready to go to dinner. We went to a cute Italian restaurant downtown then went to the roof top of the Hilton to have a couple drinks and look at the amazing views of the city all lit up. We go walk around downtown a little after with a couple of friends who happened to be in town at the same time and then head back to the hotel. Once we get back to the room I go to change and when I come out there he is on his knee asking me to be his wife. I Said "YES Of Course" with no hesitation. I just couldn't stop crying from how happy I was. I had waited for so long to hear those words and I just couldn't believe we were getting married finally! When we go to tell our families the next day come to find out he and my dad had already talked a couple days before and asked his permission! It was the most perfect night! We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with all of our friends and family!
