We're getting Married!

Coincidentally, we both gave the traditional way of dating a fair shot. While I was navigating classes and campus life at the University of Georgia, Drake jumped right into the workforce after high school, building a life through hands-on experience. We were both dating here and there, hoping to find something real—but nothing ever truly clicked. Eventually, we each reached a point where we thought, Why not give online dating a try? So, we both downloaded eHarmony, with cautious hope and a fair bit of skepticism. For months, we swiped, chatted, and tried to stay open—but the spark we were looking for kept eluding us. I had opened the app one last time, prepared to say goodbye to it for good—when I noticed a sweet, nerdy-looking guy had liked my page. Believe it or not, I almost didn’t reply. I hovered over the delete button. But something—maybe intuition, maybe fate—nudged me to respond. And that one choice turned into everything. Our first few conversations were so easy, full of laughter and curiosity. That spark we’d both been searching for was suddenly right there. Soon, texting turned into a coffee date, just to see where it might go. That one coffee turned into more and more: cozy dinners at Tequila Mama, spontaneous climbing sessions at Adrenaline, long drives, deeper conversations, and the kind of companionship that just felt right. It wasn’t a dramatic love story full of fireworks—but something steadier, safer, and beautifully real. And now, here we are—grateful that we each waited for the right person, and even more grateful that we didn’t give up right before finding each other.
