FAQs

Question

Can I Bring a Plus One?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your envelope. For example, your envelope would list "(Your Name) & Guest". For families, it will list "(Your Name) & Family" or "The (Your Last Name) Family".

Question

Will the Ceremony and Reception be Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors and guests will have access to both indoor and outdoor spaces during the reception. In the case of inclement weather, both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors.

Question

How Does Seating Work?

Answer

The ceremony will be open seating, with space up front reserved for immediate family members. For the reception, we will be arranging tables so our guests are sat with those they know. You'll be able to find your seat at the entrance to the reception area.

Question

Is There Parking Available at the Venue?

Answer

Yes, Pine Knob Mansion will have complimentary valet service.

Question

Since there will be Alcohol, What Do we Do About Driving?

Answer

We DO NOT want anyone drinking and driving. Pine Knob (of course) agrees. As such, they allow guests to leave their vehicles overnight at the venue and pick them up the next morning by 12:00pm (noon). We recommend using rideshare apps (Lyft, Uber) for transportation if you plan on drinking!

Question

Are Kids Welcome?

Answer

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate everyone's children at our wedding due to restricted numbers and space. This pertains to children of all ages including infants, toddlers, kids, and teens. Please refer to your invitation envelope to see if we are able to accommodate your children (also see the "Plus One" FAQ). If we are unable to invite your children we hope that you will see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy the party with us!

Question

What Do I Do If I'm Late for the Ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be starting promptly at 4pm, we recommend guests to arrive 15 to 30 minutes early so there is time to mingle and find a seat. If you happen to be late, staff at Pine Knob will let you know if they are still allowing guests into the ceremony area or if you will need to wait until the ceremony is over. If that happens, you will still be able to attend the reception, so hang tight and we will see you at the reception! Thank you for understanding!
