Like many modern love stories, ours began in a not-so-traditional way…on Snapchat, during the pandemic! When the world slowed down, we started talking, and never stopped. Logan’s first impression of me was that he loved my smile and eyes and thought I was completely out of his league. (His words, not mine!) I, on the other hand, loved how easy everything felt with him. We could talk for hours, laugh endlessly, and I could tell just how much he cared for others and put others first - he made me feel so genuinely loved—he is everything I hoped love would be. When I went away to college, our story became a little long-distance—2½ hours apart, which later turned into 4 when he started school too. But even through our little distance, we made it work for five years! Every visit, every weekend together, every road trip was something we cherished. Then came one of our favorite adventures yet. While visiting Montana, we decided to spend a few days exploring Glacier National Park—doing what we love most: hiking together. On our very first hike, surrounded by the most breathtaking view, Logan got down on one knee. There were tears (lots of them), a few laughs, and maybe not even a proper “yes” (I think I said “I knew it!”)—but it was, without a doubt, the easiest yes of my life!
