Question

What time do we need to be at the Chapel?

Answer

Please arrive at the chapel 15–30 minutes before 3:00 p.m. We recommend leaving your hotel/beach house an hour to 45 minutes before 3:00pm. It is still considered "tourist season", and to drive to Duck, it is a one-way street. There will be traffic, and we would like everyone to be seated before the bride arrives!  There is a great view of the sound and a great walking pier to check out near our ceremony/wedding chapel. We encourage our guests to make the most of it and to take some photos; you will not regret it!

What time does the wedding and reception start?

Answer

The wedding will start at 3:00 p.m. The reception will start at 3:45 p.m. It takes about 15 minutes to drive from the chapel in Duck to get to the reception in Kitty Hawk.

Please dress dressy casual - and comfortable. But bring your dancing shoes and smile!

What will the menu be for the reception?

Answer

Great question! Logan and Alicia Mae have decided on the following: Pizza Pasta Salad Salad (If you have a food allergy or a dietary restriction, please contact the bride and groom so they can make alternative options for you.) We will have a small cocktail hour before the wedding party arrives, a toast for the speeches, and dessert for when the bride and groom cut the cake. Beer and wine will be available, and we will have non-alcoholic beverages for those who do not drink for toasting as well. A coffee and tea bar will be provided for those who need some caffeine.
