This love story began way back in the 7th grade when Logan noticed Alecia while she was touring the New Richmond Middle School. A year later they became friends and remained friends until senior year of high school when Logan finally asked Alecia to be his girlfriend on her 18th birthday. Six years later Logan decided it was finally time to pop the big question and now they are planning a wedding!

You know what they say... "Third times the charm". This was definitely the case in this proposal story. The first attempt was on a Colorado trip that both Alecia and Logan's families were going on. Not only was Logan hoping this would be the perfect time to pop the big question but Alecia was convinced that this was going to be it. Unfortunately, the ring was not ready in time and this opportunity passed. Feeling eager and ready Logan planned to ask Alecia to be his wife the following weekend on an annual camping trip to Lake Owen, surrounded by his family. Again, he struck out when Alecia decided to stay home and watch the dog instead. Logan was convinced that this was going to happen so the Monday after he took off of work and asked to take Alecia to the zoo and then on a dinner date to Pier 500 in Hudson, WI. After dinner they took a walk in the park and well, you guessed it, he FINALLY got down on one knee and she said, YES!
